I am putting snake skins on my bob lee and wanted to know how much I should scuff up the limbs?? do I take all the clearcoat off?

The last pair I did - I lightly sanded with 180 grit....and then wipe them down with denatured alcohol...

I do the same except I wipe them down with acidtone.

Yep, just scuff them up enough so the glue has something to bite in to.
