Questions for the log books

Here's a few questions for the guys who experiment & write things down. All things being the same, how much of an increase in point weight would be necessary to move up to the next spine weight, say 400 to 340? Similar, does arrow length play a larger role w/carbon arrows? Does a 32" 340 equate to a ----" 400? Thoughts anyone?
