On most of my bows, mine is around 1/2" to 5/8".  I had one recurve that shot great at 3/4".

Orion

With wood arrows, 5/8 inches.  Less with skinny carbons, closer to 1/2 inch.

generally I set my nock point at 1/2" when I get a new bow and I usually end up only having to move it maybe 1/32" up or down to get the proper nock set.

Most of my bows are a 1/2",but my A&H likes 5/8".

Easykeeper

My top nock point always ends up with the bottom edge between 1/2" and 5/8" above a line perpendicular to the shelf.

khardrunner

1/8" for my bottom nock, top nock set depending on nock width

1/4" to the top of my nock.  I only use one nocking point below the arrow.
