Anybody shoot the new 56" recurve that John had at Denton? Talked to him yesterday and he said he designed it to handle draws out past 28". Any input would be appreciated.

I shot it a month or two back.
Sweet at 30"
Typical John Mc. bow.
I have been waiting to hear about it's debut at Denton.

I draw 28 and it was very smooth to there. It shot fast and very much like my Super Shrew but with very little of that "recurve twang" at the end. Shot a few recurves at the event and it was the only one I considered possibly purchasing based on how it shot.

Sounds like an interesting little bow for sure.

I shot two at Denton.  Very nice much like his 60" 59er.  The handle is bigger in the heel than the Griffin and higher wristed.  I'm not a recurve guy and like a lower wrist...tippit

Mitch, I'm sure a review will be coming, talking to John the day after he returns from Denton can only lead to one thing    :saywhat:      :saywhat:      :saywhat:
