Hello members would like your help with arrow selection, carbon suggestions please.I am currently shooting a  RER recurve (static tip) 45# @ 28" my draw is about 27.25, I am currently shooting 1916 cut at 29 with 125 upfront and they are flying great!!! Want to find a carbon I can have the same success. I just bought fletched up the new pile driver 250,s cut at 29 with 125 upfront what a waste of money for my set up. Please I would very much like your suggestion and if you could please provide me length, and tip weight much appreciated Jerry. By the way I love the RER bow at shoots awesome.

The closest carbon would be a .600 spine.

I'm using GT1535s with anywhere from 125 to 175 up front depending on the bow. I leave mine a bit longer - usually 30" or 30.25", so 29" would probably need the high end of the range.

If you'd like, I can send one to you to play with before you lay out money for a dozen or even 1/2 doz.

If you  want to stick to 29" and 120gr, .600 spine

I prefer more foc And more weight so would go to .500 spine with 175 up front. Start with 30" and cut as required to tune.this can be done with a file used on edge and a simple jig

Cheers

My lb comes in a little over 45# at my draw (26.5") and I shoot 28" gt. 3555's w/225grs. up front , been working fine for me. I would take Bladepeek up on his offer though , have never tried the 1535's but they just might work for ya.
