I finally found some pigs n my area. I've killed hogs before on ft Stewart but seems like I had lost them for a while. Well I finally found the mother load and will be back at that spit tonight or in the morning. Looking for a big red sow to make some bacon. Also while out on the trail I found a bunch of river cane to make more arrow shafts. Probably cut 3 dozen soon to be shafts. Todays been pretty good so far. Hope yalls is just as good!

Possum Head

There's just something about hogs and river cane. Seems like they are just meant to be together.

Well unfortunately I didn't have my bow this evening. I took my wife  so I had to take my shotgun but we did kill a 80# sow. I'll try to figure out how to upload pics.

Been a while since I lived in Savannah and hunted Stewart. Had to go to Richmond Hill via old Hwy 17..weren't no interstate yet. But..I did tear them up in area B-4 back then. Also EOD (a demolition area then) E-2, E-4 and E-6.
