Use what you like the look of.

Parabolic seem to be a bit quieter...sometimes...when new...

however...once a fletch gets shot quite a few times the barbs loosen up a bit and they get noisier anyway. Especially where they rub on the bow or get smacked with other arrows.

I'd say really truly buy what you like the looks of best....or chop/burn your own..

I've spent real time trying different shapes...trying to get the most silent fletch...yet still have a good amount of feather back there.

in the end they all start to hiss a bit..

I shoot FMJ arrows. I've always shot Parabolic but the latest batch I ordered were accidentally made with 5" shields.  I don't know why but I have better accuracy and arrow flight with the shields. I am much more accurate.  Most likely it's the shooter but I'll shoot shields from now on.

I cannot tell any difference, I simply like the looks of shields better.

parabolic are quiet and are a little bit more faster than shield and more stable as well

I currently shoot them both. It's all personal preference if you ask me.

I went to Rick Welches school and use the nose to feather anchor. A shield cut works better for that. However, I have some arrows with parabolic fletching and I just glue on a short feather with a shield back in the right spot and it works fine that way.
