I just bought a bear grizzly 48# 56 amo recurve.  It's an original bear, not a new production.  I want to shoot the gold tip traditional hunter shafts with 5" feathers and 150 grain magnus snuffer broad heads.

My drawlength is 29 1/2", what spine should I order for my shafts?

Thanks.

I would think start with 400 at 32" long

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Do you know what the bow pulls at your 29.5" draw?

No. From what I've read, I would guess it pulls about 3 lbs per inch past 28"

Unless you want the arrow to be kind of long I'm going to say you will want a 500.  For sure either a 500 or a 400 will work.  You might need to tinker with both to see which gives the best results.
