Bow-camo???

I saw a bow that had crayon(that's right ask you 3 year for some crayons!) rubbed on it to cut down on the glare.... it actually looked pretty good and it isn't permanent.

Use black spray on Plasti-Dip. Spray a LIGHT coat on it. If that's enough for you, stop there. If not, spray some more. When you're through just take your thumb and start rubbing it off.

I shoot a Zipper Nitro longbow....limbs arent wide like lots of recurves....the carbon and matte finish on the limb faces is a nice flat finish.   These characteristics make for a very low visibility limb....no need to be "camo" covered.   As someone else stated,  shine and movement are your 2 tells.... stay flat/matte and stay still,  til' they aren't looking....then let em' have it

I'm with POWduck - Plasti-Dip spray.  I saw him post that a couple years back and I use it on my Jack Howard Gamemaster Jets - those bows have a piano-shiny finish and white belly limbs to boot - works like a champ, and comes off easy by hand, but doesn't get rubbed off in the brush.

I went with the camo cloth tape this past year on the back of my osage.  It has held up well this year.

I the past I went to the local florist and bought floral spray paint, started with a coat of flat black, then accented with a light green or grey. When you wanted to remove it, used Lacquer Thinner and wiped it off. then polished the bow with a good furniture polish.

Thanks, Ryan. I can't claim personal origin for this one though. My cousin ArkyBob would the be the originator for that.

But it does work really well though.

On bows finished with a polyurethane finish, you can just smear the back with the same grease makeup some hunters use on their face. It will clean back off with a little alcohol and pledge.

I use string wax on the limbs. Don't rub it in, just glob it on and smear it around with your thumb. It works great and adds a little protection to the limbs.

After the season I buff it in with a rag.

Just wanted to see if anyone is still using camo on their bows like a gillie wrap or anything like that?

I tend to spray mine.  No fancy patterns, generally a lighter green (dull camo paint) background, then blotches of darker going across, not just lines, but big blotches.  I have had to look for my bow after laying it in the grass or against a tree.

Remember, it will shine and glare only if light is bouncing off of it.  Watch the sun, you don't really want it in your face anyway.
