bow came out light !!!!!!!!

I recently glued up a 60 " one piece recurve . I was wanting 50 @ 31" ......... its pulling about 45@ 31"


question  ............ If I refile the string nocks 1/2" shorter making the bow 59"  ........... how much weight do ya think I would gain ?????????

If it were a selfbow you'd gain 3 or 4 pounds. Not sure with a glass bow.

done a glass bow for my brother, one inch on both ends ( 2" ) gave me 6# more

I think I got about 6-7 lbs also with one inch off each end.
