I personally like to three-fletch with five inch feathers.  Go figure...

I have 3-5.5" bana's but I'm going to see how 4-5.5" nana's do... if I like them better on my heavy ASH arrows w/160grn Snuffers. I'll stay with them..

dino

I like four fletch straight RW 5".  Been shootin' em like that for years and really like em.

I tried an arrow with 5 5 1/2" high back shields. thought it would be noisier than a train. Wasnt bad at all. Thinking about tryin it with them big Sasquatch heads outta a 58 pounder.

Jwilliam

3, 5" right wing feathers.

I like 3 fletch, 5.5 high back shield.  BUT, I been wantin to try some nanners, just can't find em for sale.
Damn Nice guy

paleFace

been shooting 4 fletch for about 3 years now. if you cut yours from full length you can get 2 - 4" out of each one with no problem. i also like not having to look for the cock feather when nocking an arrow.

4 fletch, 5" low to regular rise, 60X120, with a slight nock adjusment gets me perfect riser clearance and plenty of forgiveness for those pesky pressure shots on the 3D course   ;)

3" x 4 fletch, 60 x 120, right-helical.

(EDIT:)
I watched Masters of the Barebow V.01, and tried to copy Roger Rothaar's fletching angles.  My nocks are set so that the 60 degree angles are pointing up and down (in-line with the string), so the 120 degree portion is against the riser.

Arrow flight is good, but not perfect, and I'm not good enough to tell if it's my form, or the fletching style.

This may be dumb, but when you do the 60x120, how do you set your nock?
60 degree fletches verticle or horizontal?

eagle24

3-fletch 4" shield cut.

Plywood Bender-laptop

4x4" right wing, straight clamp with very slight offset.

Carl

northener

4 fletch 60-120 with 5" feathers. I get the best flight with set-up shooting off the shelf of my longbow
Intellectuals solve problem, geniuses prevent them

Golden Hawk

4-4" 75x105 Banana cuts on most all of my arrows.

4X 5" @ 90 degrees shield for me.  Works well, stabilizes like nobodies business, don't have to look or feel for a cock feather.
