About two weeks ago, I purchased a new (to me) Sasquatch longbow, 58", 51# @ 29" from Ermont in New Mexico.  From the start she shot dead on, but I could not get rid of the twang/vibration when I shot her.

I tried bracing at the low point recommended by Kirk, the bowyer, to the high point, but to no avail.  I'm shooting 560 grain arrows, so arrow weight wasn't the issue.  It had to be the string.

Off goes yet another order to Pierre at SBD bowstrings, and just today the mailbox contained two new stings - a spare for my Dryad static tip, and a new 6 strand Ultra Performance for the Lady Sas.

I nocked up the string, braced her up at 7 1/4" per Kirk's instructions and went out to the back yard.

Perfection!!!  Quiet and smooth - all rolled into one.  After an initial grouping at approx. 15 yards, I did what I enjoy most - walk and shoot at varied distances.

The group that you see below in the pics is 5 arrows from 5 different distances from approx. 22 yards out to approx. 37 yards (+/-).

Can the Lady Sas shoot?  You tell me          :clapper:

Oh, yea - thanks to Eric (Ermont) for selling me this fine piece of archery workmanship!!    ;)

6 strand skinny strings will "git er done".

I keep mine waxed well and I shot sets from Oliver Stacy and one gifted to me that was a brand new SBD...

My Sassy Lady is only 47# at my draw, but going from 8 strand to 6, made a big tuning difference and I had to go up in spine to harness it all.

As Rob said, quiet, no vibration and deadly...more so than I am!
