Anybody tried the Trad xtra lites?

Yes, I bought some for my wife's bow. 38#@29" She pull 29"+or-1/2" Dale Dye recurve, 8 strand FF SBD string.

I can tell you that the X-lites are to stiff for her. She normally shoots a 30" 600 spine with stock insert & 125-150gr point.

With the AD X-lites we needed them long & they wern't weak enough until we got 300gr field points up front.

By that time we were at 650gr finished arrow, WAY to heavy for her 38# she likes shooting 400-450gr finished arrow #

The Trad lites work great for me out of 55#@27" but the X-lites show a little to weak.

So I'm guessing the X-lites would be good for say 45#-50# bows depending on the variables, point weight, draw length, string, arrow length & bow type.

Just my 2 cents

Thanks RLA, I am shooting #45-50 bows so they might be just the ticket.I have been shooting the lites but the arrow is just a little heavier than I would like. Where did you get them?  Bob

There's only about 15-20gr between the X-lite & the Trad lite shaft if that helps you any. But with the weaker spine X-lites you could drop point weight to decrease finished arrow weight.

I got mine from 3Rivers
