Shaun,

Do you have your tracking dog with you as part of he deal?  I never thought of it but I imagine blood is blood to them?

Looks awesome.

Gee, you guys hurt my feelings - it is a neat looking hog, but how about - "boy, he must be a good hunter", "He's got a nice looking bow", or "he's got a great wife" (which Ginger is).

We had a great time hunting with Jacob and Shaun.

A little info for those who haven't hunted hogs - notice the arrow hole on the hog - that's the entrance wound from a low elevated stand and went through the heart - with the hog standing, the leg would be back and alittle higher, but you have to hit them right above the elbow.

I haven't shot a lot of hogs, but that is bar none, the best tasting hog I ever shot.  Just finished some bacon - it's great, made boneless chops, some breakfast sausage and italian sausage, and have the hams curing yet ready for the smoker later this week.

Good looking hogs! Looks like I may have to make it out to one of these hunts soon.

Steve O, yep tracking dogs provided. Jacob's jagd terrier Mojo is starting to get good too. We had a couple long and unproductive tracks, but if the pig was dead or down we found em.

Dan and Ginger were great hunters! They put in the time and when opportunity knocked - they answered. We had lots of good sports this season and looking forward to winter of 2014. First have to keep the mule deer, antelope and elk in western WY on their toes in early fall, then back to west Texas next January.
