well after my last bow explosion i am back in the shooting game . lookin for any trad shoots in the pa . area in the next couple weeks . and maybe hookin up with a few shooters from the trad gang community ... i was shooting a lot until my last bow broke and left me bowless ... well i sold a gun and have since grabbed a few bows to play with ... i know nobody that shoots trad. in my area... so i usually go myself ( grandkids are almost 1 and almost 2 , so soon i have shooters...) anyone point me in the right direction . that be great thanks . i have a bunch of shoots written down that i intend on going to this year, but nothing in march ... and this saturday is lookin pretty .
shooting a bow is my gardening !!! keeps me calm .

Like most trad shooters, they are where you find them but some are in Schulkill Co.

Great shoot on Father's Day weekend up at Standing Stone club off the Port Royal Exit of 322... You might want to joint the PA Longbow Assn. They have a number of good shoots at other clubs. NOT just for longbow shooters...just any trad!  They have a shoot at Standing Stone early May, One at the above listed W. Caln; one late in the year on RT 74 near the MD Line in PA...and others.

From where you are, up to the DE Water Gap and over 80 into NJ 20 miles then N off the Alamuchy(?) exit to Whittingham Club shoot end of April.

Watch the forum on "Trad Events and Gatherings" here on Gang and there are good opportunities posted.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

I'm from Hazleton, Pa. I try to get to most of the trad. shoots from April to October. I usually shoot with one of my friends but there is always room for another shooter. Send me a p.m. any time you want to get together.  Gregg
