Bear Mag take down and Kodiak Hunter

I just aquired a Bear magnesium "b" riser take down and a Kodiak Hunter that has the white overlays and tips with african woods riser-  both pretty nice bows, both near mint.

Anyway, I may keep the take down and have some other limbs made for it. The limbs on it now are 54lbs @ 28 for a 64" bow.  I draw 31+ shooting a recurve, so I want a lighter limb.  The idea being making this my hunting bow for travel and such.
Would you suggest I keep the limbs I can't shoot well with the bow, or move them along when the time comes? I don't want to upset the mojo by doing something stupid, but I will never shoot those 54lb limbs since they are probably over 60lbs my draw. I hate seeing stuff remain unused just for the sake of collecting if its not that important.
Oh, and who makes aftermarket limbs besides Brandan at Rose Oak?

All those Bear TD limbs will interchange, so I would suggest going to the classifieds and asking to trade for a set of lighter weight ones.  

There are plenty of Bear limbs out there and the price for a nice set should only cost you about $200.

I agree with Lon completely. A different set of limbs won't be that difficult to come by.
And if you're looking at using this bow as an honest hunting bow, I'd definately stick to "factory-made" limbs.  Sure, a set of aftermarket limbs will look better than the black glass limbs, but you might not feel as bad abusing the factory limbs.

Thanks. Thats what I will do. I got a chnce to shoot both bows today and I was quite surprised at how quiet they both are. And accurate. The M K Mag is going to be a tack driver I can tell- nice side rest on those BTW.

The K Hunter seems to stack a bit out there in 30+ inch land, so may have to let that one go.

J-
