Anybody know a good source for buying some 85# POC arrows?

Shawn Leonard

Terry, Curt may have some!! It is hard to find true 85# POC shafts. I was once told by Kelly Petersen that you may have to go thru a couple thousand shafts to get a dozen spined higher than 85#s and at that most will be 23/64th. shfats. I may have a few cedarsmiths that spine right around 83-85#s. I will let ya know! Shawn

Terry that's the spine I shoot as well. I don't know where to find cedar but all I shoot is surewood fir now. I love it and Thai regularly have shafts in the spine.

You could contact Ron LaClair also. He had some Acme premium cedar shafts stored away that he was selling at the Kalamazoo expo.  I know he had some heavier weights availible.  Call him at 517 645 7729 or email at Ron@shrewbows.com (he's a sponson here so contact info is here on the sponsor page too).

We have a dozen Surewoods in 11/32" matched Premiums that are 80-85's.  Not sure how we ended up with them, we don't normally stock spines that high.

They weigh a bit too, they are matched at 510-520 grains!   :jumper:    If those will help you just PM or e-mail as they are not on the site.

Not sure where you'd find POC spined that high, Wapiti Archery maybe.

Good Luck Terry!

If you haven't Used Doug Fir before, I think you would be pleased with everything about them except the nice odor of cedar.

I have done business with Tim from Brave heart, he's a straight shooter.   ;)    :readit:

I knew a guy who was waiting for a matched set of high spined cedar shafts for over a year.  I think he settled on the eight they came up with at that point.

Surewood Shafts has them. I have a couple dozen 11/32" 80/85's of their shafts in stock.
