Hey guys ive got a new Bear A handle and a slightly older set of bear limbs (guessing about 5 years old they are FF) that are not maked "1 or 2 or 3".when put together they make a bow thats 52" in actual length.Looking at limb combinations in 3rivers I see no setup that makes a 52" bow.I see a A riser and #1 makes a 56" AMO bow. What am i missing?feel like a moron asking but could you explain this to me.
I think I gonna need a string thats 48" right?

Jack Shanks

The Amo is measured following the curve of the limbs. Most recurve bows will be about 4" shorter when mearsured tip to tip unstrung. Your bow will take a 52-52.5" string.
