2 dogs your right but my concern is what happens when i hit a shoulder blade am i going to get any peneration. i firmly beleive these are great broadheads, why am i having problems with bent main blads when no body else does.

elkbow

i know 2 blades get better penetration but (they don't suffer from a snuffer)took a good 6by bull in new mex this year with a 48lb Zipper elkbow, head on shot and that snuffer took the shaft plum to the fletch, dead on impact, slid 20ft.

I killed these this year with 4-blade 125 stingers, 50# Martin Savannah. Broadside pass through on 7pt., arrow stuck in ground, quartering away passthrough on the doe.

7pt.

Doug77...I'll venture a guess here. How well is your bow and arrow combo tuned. An arrow which is unstable (even if it appears to be flying fine) can result in glancing blows which can result in bent broadheads.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about what will happen if you hit "solid" bone.
