I was wondering if any of you had tips on how to get scuff marks out of bows??? this one in particular is just on the "laquer" so to speak and not in the wood itself.
How can I buff this out without doing more damage Aesthetically???
Thanks for any help! i was thinking emery but I thought I'd ask first.

Spray a good layer of pledge furniture polish over the area then use 0000 steel wool and lightly rub the direction the grain of the wood is flowing. Just keep in mind that you want to only lightly buff/blend the scuff. I've used this method on bows from tip to tip and always rub in that direction.
