Athens, TN tradgangers...

Does anyone here live in, or know anything about Athens, TN?  I might be relocating there in a few months and was wondering if any of you had any experience in that area.

Are there any public ranges, trad oriented stores, public land hunting, etc.?

I live app 25 miles south in Cleveland.there is an old fartes club that meets in crossville,tn about 1 hr away from Athens.most archers shoot wheelies but there are a few of us here.Tn has wildlife mgt areas that the state owns and there is Cherokee Nat park that runs in etast Tn.you can check TWRA on line and get the hunting regs.Tn deer herd has really grown.many people are getting on hunting leases here unless you know a landowner.if I can help you give an email: demjem@bellsouth.net

I am originally from Clinton, which is not too far north. Athens is a nice place, it is close to a lot of good fishing.
