For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2nd Timothy 1:7.

I love the looks of the more aggressive RD longbows with triangular shape riser and subtle reflex when strung.
Instinctive gapper.

Sixby

I honestly don't know. I love a perfect D bow and believe they have the most appealing look. I also love the way they are like a feather in the hand.
I love the curves of a really good recurve.
I like long bows,. I like short bows./ I like inbetween bows/ I have them all and love them all/ What a delima.

I love Buffalo bows, Flatbows and Sythians. I like self bows. lam bows and glass bows and carbon bows.

I just cannot get into the head of folks that only like one kind of bow and only buy from one bowyer.

Now women? I have no problem loving and being faithful to one.

Bows. I'm hoplessly lost.

God bless you all, Steve

Rustic

To be honest with you...I like all of them.

Same Here.

Recurves all the way for me.  Longbows are probably great and they have quite a repuation for the lack of limb slap, but I'm addicted to the curve.

What ever I'm shooting at the time.

1pc. mild r/d Longbows, that string up with a nice D shape! 64" to 66"  :archer2:  ...KY

Tradcat

I like a mild R/D Longbow around 64" in the 54 to 58 lb. range for my 26" draw length BUT the most important element of that combo is THE GRIP !  If you don't "grip" the bow the same way EVERY time then you have inconsistent shooting. The best grip that I've found to date is the slight dish on my Robertson Purist Longbow...it also has a little more mass in the riser due to the take down connection hinge that seems to make the bow more stable while shooting

Recurve, my preference is going toward 1 pc.  I love my vintage Kodiak, Red Wing Hunter and my new BW KB X.

Hill style with a straight grip, can't get better than that.
