Tomorrow is the last day of deer hunting here in Michigan. the fall hunting season goes way to fast. and it is sad to see it end

I am thinking one more afternoon in the stand is in order even though I have been told by the Dr. and the PT no shooting for at least a month as I try and get through this tendinitis. I think one or two more arrows can't be to bad

It is a sad day to see the season come to a close. But I guess we can start hunting plans for 2013

Good luck Dave, I agree, one or two arrows cant be too bad.  I'm heading out in a few minutes.  I have seen more deer signs this week than I have in a month. Theres still time...good luck

Good luck folks!  Being originally from MI I still hunt this holiday like it's the end.  Here in Ohio Super Bowl Sunday (first Sunday in Feb) is the closer.  I find it so much better to spend that Sunday in the woods than watching TV

One or two arrows, that's usually a whole season of shooting for me, good luck and be careful!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

I have started a tradition for myself and that is to sit the last evening (January 1) every year just to see the season out.  It is always a bittersweet sit.  I am about 4 years into this new tradition now.  I have never gotten a shot on this last sit, but there is always hope. This year looks good.  It should be cold and snowy and the wind is right for a stand on a travel route to some standing beans.  I have two doe tags and a buck tag lefts so I don't have to be very choosy!

I will be out in the morning, looking forward to watching another sunrise throught the trees, the snow always makes it seem just a bit more peaceful. Todd

Plan on hunting the last day myself, but weather doesn't look the best! Lots of snow in the woods but it will be a long wait for the bow season of 2013!
