I love mine, yes its noisy getting in and out but once you are in its pretty good.  When you swivel I don't notice any noise from the bar on bark.  I will add though that to make it into a true lazyboy chair you should add a pad to the seat are to avoid any material pinching under your thighs.  I only notice it after 5hours or so without the pad so ymmv.

Waitingforfall, Thanks for sharing this with us. I may have to try this seat out. By the way I really enjoy your videos.

Ive wondered about these too. What do you think is making it noisy? The material it is made out of?

Thanks!

The material is a heavy canvas type and it is noisy, especially in cold weather. Still, it is a great seat. I sewed a quick release nylon belt to my pouch so I could wear it horizonal at the small of my back. Works so much better.

If the maker could come up with a different fabric for the seat so it would be quiet in cold weather, it would be an improvement.

I tried it out this season, and found it noisy. The canvas rubs and catches on the bark of the tree, sounding like Cordura in brush, sometimes pulling flakes of bark off of the trunk. The pivot was silent. I sat at oak and cherry trees.

I found that the easy pivoting made it much more likely for me to move. I got out of the chair and sat on a foam pad like usual, as it is quieter and I sit stiller that way.

The chair is very comfortable, and I will use it for squirrel hunting (rifle), photography, and other non-critical woods-sitting.

Im with Killy on the movement.  The seat is VERY comfy.  I don't consider the noise of the material on the bark to be a factor because the animal will more than likely see the movement.  I have found with the one leg support every time I move my head, arm, foot, or adjust your whole body moves because its on the pivot.  I don't use it for bowhunting anymore after I got a Waldrop.
