I'm excited. Thanks to Dryad's generous Black Friday bow deals I was able to budget and am now on the list for an ACS limbed Orion! My build should be end of February or so which gives me some time to put together the balance and consider my options. My "ordered" bow is a 15" Bocote riser w/ long carbon longbow limbs to make a 60" bow.
Kind of debating the 13" riser and X-L limbs - whaddya think? Anyone knowledgeable in the differences in feel or performance between the two configurations? Not sure if this would still be a 60" bow...?
Sadly, I keep looking at the risers on the website and that cocobolo looks awful nice too...
Good thing I'm a longbow guy, cause those ACS recurve limbs would be interesting... hmmm.
Fun to agonize over this stuff, thanks for any feedback/recommendations.

I used the Black Friday Dryad sale to buy a 17 inch riser and long ACS longbow limbs to make a 62 inch bow. I just got it Monday and I am already shooting it good enough to hunt with it. I hope to post a product review with pictures this weekend along with some highlight photos of a successful deer hunt.
For performance differences don't ask us... Call Mike or John and ask them. They've run the performance numbers and can tell you the exact differences!          You won't regret your decision whichever combo you go with!
