Brian, it looks like youve been visiting the same places that i have.   :biglaugh:
That carrot, is a Robertson Mystical longbow, 66" 68 lbs at my draw length.
Now ive just got to smooth things over with my wife.
Im afraid this bow is gonna cost me farrrrr more than the asking price, if you know what i mean.   :nono:

I had the same problem yesterday.  I never swore to not buy any more bows though.

They just dont understand. I have been on a target buying spree. The wife asks how many do you need, and my reply as many as it takes.  :D  Little does she know I'm buying a new long bow after the first of the year.  :goldtooth:

I think I fell off about 2 hours ago.....can't resist those 50's style recurves....lol! Hey ,there are worse things I could be doing!   :dunno:
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Moleman,
yes, unfortunately I do visit the same places you do!! I have be eyeing up my old Deathwish. Its in the classifieds and I don't believe a better R/D bow exists.  But I just sent my money in the mail this morning for my New JD Berry Vixen.

Yeah, the joy of trading hunting equipment definitely helps pass the off-season!

I feel your pain my brother .

I just bought another bow I don't need and am selling a few things to replenish the account.

I didn't sell any thing yet but did manage to buy some string making supplies on the classifieds .    :banghead:

The only solution that has helped me is NEVER , NEVER , NEVER , look at the classifieds.
NO matter where you go there you  are !

dnovo

I gotta stop looking at the classifieds!  Just found the replacement for the bow I have regretted selling for years now. Have to sell one to help pay for it, but can't stop looking.
