check out the "how to " section on the main page, there is an arrow chart that has all the sizes and inside and out diameters of all the aluminum arrows.

Tim,
I think he already looked in there before comeing here and posting the question...I too would like to know if someone does..

   :rolleyes:

I understand what Tim is saying. I didnt check the inner diameter and outer chart to find out...i just figured someone had already footed some and knew exactly which one to use.

Ill do some looking up and let ya know!

I have to believe someone has.When I can't get the answer,I use the manufacturer's specs for the carbon and the aluminum chart with inside diameters.Don't forget that the woodgrain carbon shafts are slightly thicker than the same deflection black ones.

JimB

OK,I looked it up.The trad 1535's are .296 diameter.
2113=.3021
2114=.3001
2219 would work,at .3058 and would be the easiest to find plus the strongest.

2117 is slightly undersized by the chart but so close,I would try it if I had them laying around.I have found that the shafts don't always jive exactly with the charts and it is worth a try if that's what you have.

huntsmanlance

According to Big Jims site the 1535 and the 3555 are almost the same size..... 1535 =  .296.  3555 = .297. So the recommended 2117  in the How To on here would fit fine!

Jim we posted at the same time!    :biglaugh:

Yep according to the charts online it says the 2117 are to small but that is what folks are useing for the 3555's

I foot my GT Trad 1535's with a 2117. I lightly sand the shaft with some 120 grit paper first and then epoxy them in place with Loc-tite  brand epoxy. Never had one come loose yet.

I use a 2117 to foot my GT Trad 3555's also, they are a little tighter fit, so I sand the shaft a little more than I do with a 1535.
