Congrats my friend on a fine Buck, and that was one of the best posts I have read in a long time. Congrats you deserve it.

Today I got my deer meat back from my buck and I had 24# of sausage leaks made up with a hint of "sage" seasoning...As I was loading the steaks and loins into the freezer I kept eyeballin those packs of links cause if you know me I love sausage anything and I love to make sausage gravy for our girls and they eat it anytime...Well after I got off work I went and picked up the meat and then after I got the girls off the "yellow cheesewagon" (new name for a school bus)I decided to throw two 12" long links in the frying pan and bring to a boil with water and cooking it for about 45 mins on a low heat after it started to boil...I couldn't believe our two daughters Ande who is now 6 and Kaci 5 both wanted more and more as we test sampled it...You all know how that made me feel knowing our girls both love deer meat makes their "Bah Bah" very happy knowing they aren't afraid to try it cause my wife hates it and won't even try anything wild( she won't even cook it)....Makes a man want to hunt again like he was designed to do...    :archer:

My grandfather was a hunter in Africa. He remembered every single animal he harvested. He is my reference.
