Anyone use the Full Shot? I've seen stuff writting about the Big Shot but don't remember about the Full Shot.  I was considering it especially for colder weather hunting since it covers more of the hand but I'm also interested in it's performance as a shooting glove.

I just got a big shot and it took me about three days to get used to it,but now I love it. If you get one of the others post on it and say if you like or don't like it. The new crossover looks like their rugged build in a glove, but more of a traditional style glove.

non-typical

I've got both types. Prefer the Big Shot for hunting as it's easy to slip my fingers in and out of as I always seem to need an unimpeaded finger for untying something or a sure grip on something while in the stand. The Full Shot works great for practice, however, it does take a lot longer to break in or get used to the restrictiveness of the glove section over the back of the hand. I would rate both equal for their smooth release. For cold weather hunting I just slide a short fingered poly/cotton glove over the Big Shot and that I think works better than the Full Shot but that's just my preference.

After lots of reading here, and talking to John at American Leathers, I decided to try a Full Shot. Takes some getting used to (still only have shot with it maybe half a dozen times or so, and I was using a Damascus, or  a single layer tab before), but I am REALLY happy with the glove, and like it more every time I shoot.
First taking it out of the package, it felt so tight and stiff, I didn't think it could work for me. After shooting it in a few times it's extremely comfortable, especially after an application of Pitch Blend, which John recommended.
The release is exceptionally clean. There's still a feel for the string, though as expected very different than the soft Damascus, or deerskin gloves I've used. As I adjust to the Full Shot, I'm thinking it's actually more forgiving of finger placement/pressure than the thinner gloves, and the release is head and shoulders better.
Materials and workmanship, as well as John's customer service, are exceptional. I would buy another with no hesitation at all.

Thanks guys, I have definitely decided to go with either the big shot or full shot so now I just got to decide which.  Both would be nice but they are definitely not cheap. I am one though that doesn't mind spending the money if the quality warrants it and from what I've heard these definitely fit the bill.

Brazos

I just shot my new Big Shot tonight.  After more first group of 4 arrows it was hammer time.  Only more shooting will tell but so far I think it is the finest I ever used.  I am excited about it.
