Bear Hunt Video

I had the opportunity to hunt black bear in Western Maryland this year. It has taken me four years to draw a permit with our lottery system. Here in Maryland it is a 100% fair chase hunt, we are not allowed to use bait or lures of any kind. So I was hunting natural food with a tree stand over a natural passage way. I hope I can too . . . the landowner that allowed me to hunt on his property said next year is his 5th year(meaning 5 preference points) and he might invite me back and make me his subpermittee which would be awesome:)

Hey that was neat....At least you saw one. I have seen bear every way you can see them......except while hunting. Over 40 years and never in a hunting situation. Even over bait........Nice job on the video!!
