To be successful on public ground requires going deeeeep!,
Just wondering how many of you use your deer carts for utility carts when going deep with treestands and gear?

Since I can't hardly walk a half a mile anymore I don't go "deep" anymore but I dang sure use it around home to haul junk. It gets used as a game cart too because I just can't lift anything anymore. I couldn't drag a critter a half mile any more than jump over a fence. Dang good thing to have around.

My old hunting partner would load our stands and bows in his cart and we would push it in about 2 miles in on a Island using the trails . He would lock the cart near the trail then we would separate to hunt. Was used many times to take deer out.

That's why I like to hunt on the ground these days, I have a long walk too. I keep the cart in the truck, if I ever connect it will be worth the walk back to get it. If I did use a stand I would just get a lighter one, carting every time wouldn't be much fun and I cant leave them up while not in use.
