I'll be in Wyoming next week hunting antelope and mule deer. Although my party is rifle hunting, I plan on using my bow too. For those of you that sit on water holes in blinds, do you sit all day or mornings and evenings? I've only hunted antelope once with a rifle. We saw antelope over water a couple evenings but never never hunted near water any other time of day. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have seen more in the mornings, before noon.

i like it when its a morning thing, so ya dont sit all day, but ive seen em at all hours so id be ready for any of it.
is it September yet??

On my hunt last year sat dark to dark until getting my lope on day 4. They came and went throughout the day. Just couldn't get the right shot angle on them. Mid day hours seemed to be good times for them to come to the water hole.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I find the older I get, the less I used to know!
