I bought a ghillie at Gander Mountain a few weeks ago but am just now getting it ready to hunt.  I can't wait to use it in a couple weeks.  I feel invisible.

Bigfoot has arrived...nice ghillie.

I like it. Been thinking of ordering same one. How do you like it? String clearance???

Roy from Pa

It's an improvement, John:)

You look like a big ol' ball of moss! Very nice! Shoot in it a lot to get used to it and get good string clearance.  I can't wait for cooler weather to try mine out. Good Hunting.
Maddog Mountaineer 57# and Prairie Predator 52# Wow!, Samick Sage 35 - 60#,  I'm learning.

I have used them and the deer absolutely do not see you, even the smart old Does who can pick me out of any tree cannot pinpoint you in the Gillie.
Just have to be aware of the string material when shooting.

The green looks good, but did you know that they make those in White too? I just bought one today, the last one they had in my size. I have a whitetail hunt in between Christmas and New Years, and if it snows, it should be great for stalking.

Good luck with it. That would be completely invisible in a tree with spanish moss in Georgia or Florida.    :)

I am making a bracer (sleeveguard) to keep the material out of my string.  I don't really want to trim it as I will use this for more than archery hunting.

The bow is getting snakeskins but I do have some material to add to it also.

so how do you keep the bow string from hitting all the stuff hanging off your arm??

kat

I sure would be interested in seeing a picture of the bracer when you get it done.
