I've misplaced the specs. for the brace, will someone help refresh my memory? I thought 7"-7 1/4" but the string has apparently stretched and the brace is 6 7/8" which is pretty low

Show of hands, who owns or owned a peregrine?

I love my peregrine and your memory is right on, mine likes 7 1/8"

Thanks Jay,
I like to refer to it as a 'workin' mans bow'. I set up a different bow this summer to start the season and dusted off the peregrine for a secondary. The peregrine is the quietest recurve I've ever shot and still is so it may go to the front again
