Anybody did it ?Thinking about doing it so I could pack it in a suitcase when I go moose hunting so I would have better odds if some of my luggage gets lost by the airline. Will also be taking my 1 piece Cari-Bow as my # 1 bow.

I know stiks-n-strings was working on one. Not sure if he has finished it.

Terry I believe Arvin Weaver from Central Texas has made 1 before, he also built the bow for the current Trad Selfbow World Champion. He does not have a website but I am sure someone can provide his phone # by a internet search.

Lots of people have. I have seen takedown sleeves and also fiberglass sleeves as well as connection hinges to hold them together at the handle.

I have successfullly completed 2 Osage t/d self bows using the two piece sleeve that T bought from Raptor archery. It takes some fitting to get it right, but if I can do it anyone can.
