Got a pork loin on the grill, flingin' some whitetail arrows, dreaming about October.

And of course watching for success threads.      :campfire:

Watched primal dreams, remounted a stone point, put the VPA 160's on some cedars, organized some gear, ready for my first season here in Tenn.

Rained, installed a network switch for a friend, took my son back to college and dreamed about shooting.

Today is a new day. I'm gonna get outside.

LONGSTYKES

My first day out hunting on my place. Saw very few deer compared to numbers in the past. Did shoot a rattler with my Pronghorn. Forgot the camera, though. Hope everyone has a great season.

Built 2 sets of arrows for the boys. Got them both through the short range bare shaft phase. We'll be off to the woods to fine tune them at longer distances, then we gotta finish them, put on the 160 gr Aces and sharpen them up.
I started shooting a longbow because I thought it would simplify things and it did... now I simply need to get a whole lot closer to hit anything.

Work'n when I have to, fish'n when I can...

Burgers and hot dogs.  Shot a little after lunch.  October 1st sure is taking it's sweet time here in Louisiana.
