Hey all, what all different things could cause an arrow to show weak. Other than arrow spine
Wild Horse Creek  kestrel 60" 56#@28
Black Widow KB X 58" 51@28"
Black Widow PSA lll 60" 52@28"

Bad release, shelf contact, nock high/low(causing shelf contact), wind, torquing the bow.
This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Form!  collapsing shot, too tight a grip on the bow, bow arm moving right on release, plucking, on and on.  MOST folks that identify weak (or stiff) arrows are in fact causing the problem by how they are shooting -- not the equipment.

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?

Shelf contact causes me the biggest headache. My vintage Kodiak and Super K. both have the Bear weather rest on them now. That and shooting with the cock feather up has helped alot. A bad release will do it also but I usually know when that happens.

What about a worn out rest or strike plate

I would say for me, it's shelf contact.  Fletching bounces off the shelf sending the arrow down range nock left (for a RH shooter).  I've had arrows that were actually too stiff show as weak b/c of this.

False weak is very common and easy to check out.  Add an additional 50 gr. up front and see if it's weaker.
