I had put some inserts in at an earlier time and realized I needed a tool like 3Rivers sells or make something. The tool seemed like it would be hard to get any leverage out of and it seemed expensive for what it was. I got these pictures out of order, you have to go from the bottom up. I put a screw through my work bench and a nut to keep it from turning. I then put the insert a little ways on and then can put a little glue on and turn it some until there is glue all the way around,it works best to put it on towards the rear then as you shove it forward it smears it all the way up. Push it all the way on and then thread it all the way forward and then you can spin it to make sure it seats and gets straight. It worked like a charm,I did a dozen in nothing flat!

Dry Creek

Very interesting idea, going to have rig up one myself.
