Where is the best place to buy wood shafts. I thought about 3 rivers but I had a bad experience with them one time. I still buy stuff there but not arrows. Im not putting them down or anything but I bought some cedars one time that were junk. Some of them were cracked none of them were no where even close to straight, i mean bad. So where can I get good shafts for my money.

Thanks Guys

I deal with Twig Archery in Ohio. Great people to work with. Their stuff is also of the highest quality too

Rocky Mt. Specialty Gear and/or Raptor Archery both have quality wood arrows.

Travis- Snag (David Lawson) of Wilderness Custom Arrows makes the straightest, most well made arrow I have ever purchased.  No kidding, those shafts spin like a carbon.  I have made my own before after purchased pre-straightened raw shafts and they don't even come close in comparison.  The guy is an arrow genius, priced right to!  I know a lot of the guys on this site have used him and highly recommend him as well!

I have been very happy with the tapered doug fir shafts i bought from 3rivers.  I have a friend who has had good results too.

I also like chundoo shafts from twig archery.  I'd try surewood shafts too.

Tim at Bravehart will do you right on shafts. I purchased 3 dozen Surewoods from him and they all were the correct spine and they weighted within 3 grains of each other. I have two dozen left to finish. Not one of the first dozen needed straightened.

I just bought my first dozen from Allegheny Mountain Arrow Woods.  Bill was a pleasure to deal with.

I always used David Elenboggen. He was considered the best  arrowsmith by several archery magazines in the 80's. He will spine your arrows to one pound.

i would contact snag of wilderness custom arrows. I just switched to wood this year and his arrows are a work of art. Very straight and the cresting and fletching are very nice, neat and precise. The only downfall is waiting to get them once you order them. He is very helpul and extremly patient. I now have three dozen of his arrows and I love them all
