I have shot both, but prefer a tab. I like the Sanders Fab Tab with none of the extra padding attached.

Scott Teaschner tab (now sold on 3Rivers) - simple is sometimes better.

Nothing beats the convenience of a glove for hunting imo.  I used a glove for years but struggled when my fingers started to crack and bleed like they always do in the fall.  I would just shoot through the pain or forgo practice, neither a good thing.

This summer I learned how to shoot a tab when I developed an early and painful split on my index finger.  I shoot split and the Cavalier tab with a spacer eliminated the pain.  Took a while to get used to the tab, now my old glove feels very uncomfortable.  I know the Cavalier will not be as convenient this fall, but at least I will be pain free and able to practice.

Tab. I can wear a glove (for camo/hand warmth) with it.

I shot a tab for years, and I like the SAM (Super Archery Mitt) the best. I went to a glove because of the convenience while hunting.

After my ridiculous shooting slump this week I am seriously considering playng with my tab again....
