Ive pretty much fulfilled my quests with the compound and got bored with it, ive switched ro recurve now and love it so far, its like i just started hunting again though this will be my first season using it full time, i so want to kill my first deer with it and any helpful hints will be greatly appreciated, for im a rookie in the traditional field but learning very quickly, give advice my friends

I sold my compound two years ago, and I don't even miss it. Best advice I could give is to not get discouraged and to PICK A SPOT! I still have that problem!!! And have fun, I can't get enough

If the deer do not show up, you can have great fun with stumps or squirrels without breaking arrows. Roy

Looking forward to that myself.  Passed up a nice fat Raccoon and loads of squirrels last year cause I didn't want to lose my expensive crossbow bolts and destroy mechanical broadheads... Darn things get buried in the ground.  Going trad this year with bright pink Nugent GT's and pink fletchings.. easy to find. Squirrels beware...  :bigsmyl:
