GT trad 3555 vs. CE 150 Heritage

If you have shot them both out of the same bow, what have you found for dynamic spine in real world shooting between the two?  What point weight difference or shaft length difference did you need to tune them both?

I have been shooting GT 3555 and need a little more spine to get a heavier head and more overall weight.  I am hoping to get it by a change to the CE 150.

I shoot 3555 GTs full length with 145pts, from the same bow I shoot CX 150 Heritages cut to 30in w 50grn Brass inserts and 145 points both fly real well, the Heritage have a little more GPI than the GTs! Both are great arrows!My bow is a Bama Expi 62in 47@28 Reflex/Deflex longbow!

The carbon ex;press is stiffer then the goldtips and they are a tougher arrow to boot. If I shoot a 35-55 GT out of my 49 lb widow at 27.5 it is too weak but the CX at 28inch is ok same head and alum insert.  Widow

I'm with Darren.  I've found that a Heritage 150 to be be a stiffer arrow.  I'd go as far to say that it falls right in between the spine of a GT 35/55 and a 55/75. The Heritage is definitely a  tougher shaft and will hold up better.  

On the flip side I've found the Gold Tips to be less critical.  They seem to tune quicker and not be as sensitive.  They are however quite a bit lighter which will require you to use a heavier tip to attain the same overall arrow weight.  Carbons like forward weight and it definitely helps in penetration.

Both are great arrows but I'd side with the Heritage if you can get them to fly.  Right now my ACS quiver is loaded with gold tips and my Silvertip quiver with 150's!

My finding are the same as Ripforce56 Todd. I shoot my 3555 with 50 grain brass inserts and 100 gr points and my 150's with 50 grain inserts and 145-160 grain points. So 50 grains more on the 150's and thats a fantastic combo on deer I can tell you.

For summer target shooting I use CE 90's with aluminum inserts and 145 grain heads. Fantastic arrows fast and flat from my 52 lb bows.

I agree with Tim, I also find Gold Tips a little less picky, but the Carbon Express arrows are very tough, both are a good choice.

Thanks for the input.  I will give them a try.  I tried them a couple years ago and also found them a little fussy to tune, but they didn't have enough spine for the ACS and cut past center recurves I was shooting at the time.  I think they will work in the bows I shoot now.  

I wish I could shoot 5575 GT's because I find the GT to be real durable and consistent shooting.   Hard to beat the blems.  I just find I get a real big jump in spine stiffness between the 3555 and 5575.

CE 150 Heritages are .487 spine and the GT 35/55 trads are .500 spine. The Heritages do weigh more but I cant remember off the top of my head what the difference was....maybe around 1gr per inch. I shot both for a while but my groups were consistantly better with the GT Trads out of my bow/setup.....so I stuck with them.
