Just sent a money order today!I've been wanting to try a Stalker recurve for a little while now and found the perfect one! It's 62'' 65@29 Schleyer edition! South only made 100 of these bows and I'm really excited to own one very soon! I've read only good things about Stalker bows so I can't wait to get it, how does everyone like there Stalkers that they have?

Thanks, Logan

South makes a heck of a bow, and that is one of his premier models. Congrats!  :readit:

Got a striker model 56"  Absolutely love it!  Works great with my personal shooting style.  Very beautiful workmanship as well.

I do not own one but hunted with "Hope" (the St. Judes bow) in December. It was a recurve style handle with longbow limbs. If the bow you ordered is anything like that one was, feel and performance wise, you will not be disappointed!

I own "Faith" from the St. Judes auction.  It is easily my favorite bow.  You will not be disappointed.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

I'm still waiting on it to show up! The guy was suppose to ship it out on monday but didn't get it out till wednesday and I think he shipped it regular mail instead of priority like he said he would!!!!

Be sure to post up some pics when you get it. That's a beautiful bow that has me returning to South's web site again and again!

Well I got the bow but it's not a Schleyer edition! The guy i got it from was miss informed when he bought it, the seller told him it was a Schleyer but really it's a Striker model. It does look identical to a Schleyer but it says right on the riser that it's a Striker. When I got the bow it was beat up from shipping and I wasn't happy. I contacted the seller and he admitted that it was his fault and is going to work with me about getting it refinished if I like the bow. I did get to shoot it yesterday and it shoots like a rocket! I like the bow other than the cosmetic blems, I'm taking it to a 3d course tonight to see how it shoots!

I bought a Schleyer from South last year and love it.  I shoot it more accurately than most bows I own.

When I saw a picture of the Schleyer in the advertisment South had mailed with TBM I ordered one.  It has become one of my favoite bows.  It was easy to tune and it quiet and stable.

Bummer about the misinformation. They are a great bow no matter the model. I've seen a couple of refinished bows South has done, Very Nice!!!
