I don't know of any offhand.Tuffhead does have 225's.Would you have enough room up in the taper to tamp 25 grs of lead?

You might need to go with a combination of field points and some woody weights.

Alaska Bowhunting Supply had some. I have some used ones if you want them  :D

I was thinking of those...if I HAD too.
Don't really want brass.
Thought about turning down the 300 as an alternative too...

I had to use woody weights.  I couldnt find anything over 190 gr.  Too bad since a lot of broadheads are more than that.  You would think manufactures would have a market for 190+ to match broadheads.

Zradix

VPA..hint..hint...

I wonder how they'd do making field points in the weights of their broadheads...?

I don't know of anyone that has but forgot to ask,are you gluing these on wood or on to an adapter?

Got it.Well,if it helps any,I didn't think I wanted brass either but I have been using Tuffhead's 300 gr field points for several months now and really like them.Steel field points are just mild steel to begin with and these high quality brass ones seem as tough as the steel ones. The look cool too.

Zradix

I was just looking at those.
Thought about grinding 50 grains off.

Thanks!

You could do that I guess but it would be some work and time involved. The 300's are 2" long and the taper cavity is 1 1/8" long,so there is plenty of solid metal on the end.

Zradix

cool.
Good to know Jim.
I appreciate it.

...just wish the darn things weren't so pricey..lol
