Do ILF risers hang up on brush?

With the limbs backed off it seems an ILF bow will have a gap between the riser and the limb that could catch brush.  I see some guys (Morrison) are now making wood risers that don't have a gap, is this because it's a problem or is it an appearance thing?

As far as I know it depends on the durability of those pockets.
Some bowyers have got problems with customers, cuz of destroing that narrow side wall as a result of careless treatment.
My Morrison ILF Riser isnt that damageable, the limb pockets are made of black phenolic and very stable.

Not  anywhere near as "bad" as a bow quiver or the larger bolts used on some take downs. In a word, "no".
