I'm interested in a compare/contrast of my two (yes I only have two:)) bows.  I'm interested in how they perform so what variables would you want to know? (draw weight, fps, etc).  I'll hold other variables as constant as possible such as same arrow, draw length, consistent release, etc and at least try to identify where there might be differences.  I'd like to hear your thoughts and suggestions.  Thanks.

It depends on what you mean by performance. If you mean speed well that involves a chrono and a certain set of parameters. If you mean accuracy, lethality, or anythig else then there are testing parameters for that as well.

I'd like to hear About the parameters for both and reasons for one perspective on performance over another or in addition to another.

Zane, before chronos we would find a open field 300 yds long and shoot arrow at a 45 degree angle.Longest shot = best performance.Arrows have to match bow weight, your case easy because bows weight the same.

Don't.  You'll drive yourself wonkers.  Shoot the one that moves you at a given moment.

Parameters are set by what kinds of tests you can run... chrono, machine shooting, force/draw curves etc.

Reasons are all personal.

I like to shoot, eyes closed, standing close, at a round bale of hay, which is what I use for my target butt. You may or may not feel a difference in the two(wow, only two?) but probably will. Then work with the one that FEELS best to you. Work with the other one later. And then work on getting a bunch more bows.

I feel pretty good with both and have each for particular hunting situations.  I'm just curious about them and wanted to hear others' perspectives on how they measured performance.

Pick up a copy of Traditional Bowhunter and look at a Blackie Schwartz  bow review.  The same parameters will work nicely to compare your  bows.
