Thinking of switching to carbon arrows.  I shoot 1916`s & 2016`s out of my 45lb Savannah. I was wondering which MFX would have the proper spine,,is it their 500 or 600? Thanks

TxAg

Depends on the overall arrow weight and point weight you want to shoot. For what it's worth, i had very good luck with the 600s out of my 45# Whip.

Reaper TN

I shoot 600 spine arrows out of my 45 pound recurve and my 50 pound longbow.

Hoyt Excel  50# 64"

600's were some of the best flying arrows I have tried out of a 45 lb. Predator.  The best penetration I've experienced too.  No added weight, 125 gr. tip. I shot them full length. Great arrows.

Or, you could try the .500 spine and load up the front a little with 100 grain brass inserts like I did with my 49# Kanati LB. See my sig. below.
58" JK Traditions Kanati Longbow
Ten Strand D10 String
Kanati Bow Quiver
35/55 Gold Tip Pink Nugents @ 30"
3 X 5" Feathers
19.9% FOC
49# @ 26.75"
165 FPS @ 10.4 GPP (510 gr. hunting arrow)
171 FPS @ 9.7 GPP (475 gr. 3D arrow)

My Morrisons like either spine. I shoot 29.25" 600's with no added weight or 29.25" 500's with 100 grain brass insert (525 grains). Both shoot very well.
Good shaft. Very durable and nice weight to them.

500s with a 100 grain insert from 46,47 and 50# longbows for me. My favorite combo yet and Ive had some good results on deer with them.I tried CX 150s out for a while and while theyre good and no complaints about them I think the MFX has the edge over them due to the thinner shaft.

Depends on how heavy of arrow you want.

Kodiak Mag 52" 41 lb.
Kota Kill-Um 60" 42 lb.
Kanati 58" 38 lb.
Black Hunter Longbow 60" 40 lb.
