Well I posted two weeks ago my story on my first bird and I'm still pumped about that one and didn't care if I shot another this year or not, this morning my friend  matt and I headed our to his farm about 20 minutes away got set up on a field with high hopes of calling in a bird for Matt he has never killed one with a bow  before we saw a few hens on and off and finally at 8:00 heard the first gobble and then nothing else until 9:00 he gobbled twice more and went silent I did a few soft calls on the slate and waited 9;30 rolled around and 40 yards out a younger bird popped out I saw the red head and said get ready he grabbed the crossbow and started shaking the bird never would quite close the distance 20 yards was it the bird was real nervousr of my strutting decoy Matt never could get a shot through the front window of the blind so a minute passes by and the bird is getting more cautious by the minute and starts to walk off he said go ahead you shoot by now the bird is out there I said what the heck I have been practicing a bit I l kneel down pick a spot and release the 250 grain VPA was on its way the same broadhead I killed the bird with last week the arrow center punched the turkey and he went 70-80 and was done I walked off the shot and where my arrow passed through the bird was 30 yards on the dot and stuck in the ground I was finished and carrying the bird out in just enough time to make it to church tagged out this year and couldn't be happier thanks again guys for all of your help also I have pics again on my phone if someone would kind enough to post them for me

Congrats on the bird!  Is that the bow you picked up at k-zoo?  I think I remember speaking with ya at Brians booth.  Good shooting!
