Im looking sources for some wood shafting or possibly buy some fletched arrows. I need them to take the place of .300 spine carbons and 65 lbs 31 3/4in long with 200 grn tip. So far I think I will need to drop point weight to find something suitable. Even though Ive taken quite a few animals with traditional gear ive never killed anything with wood arrows, have made and broke a few cedar and made some heavy maple that were never straight from the day I first put my eyes on them to the day I used them for kindling. It just dont seem right I have not killed anything with a cedar or other wood arrow.

Don,

I would get a hold of David (Snag) at Wilderness Custom arrows, he's a sponsor here. He can get ya setup if anyone can.

Fletcher also has some shafts in that weight range.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

Here's another vote for snag, he set me up with some high spined, heavy surewoods for my heavy bows.
