I just bought these arrows and not quite understanding the nock system. Are they meant to be glued on? They come off pretty easy. Is there a disadvantage to gluing them? Is there a particular glue that I should use? Thanks, I'm obviously new to this!
I'm not sure the image loaded, but the nock fits on top of a little cylinder type cone, snapping in real loosely.

I glue mine on with the Fletching glue I use. Dont Force them on, put do add some pressure and let them sit a good 6 hours to dry before use. A good "Before Bed" Project that will be ready to Rock in the Morning!

'Em's what I use. Glue 'em.

make sure you align your cock feather and nock before you glue. my advice would be to buy The Traditional Bowhunters Handbook by T.J. Conrads, you can order it from 3 rivers archery, full of good info

Add a little fletchtite, spin the nock around a few times to ensure good coverage, wipe off the excess, and let dry.

That's the only kind of nocks you could get for aluminum arrows for my first 20 years or so.

Thanks for the help! I'm reading "Shooting the Stick-bow" but I haven't gotten to that part yet. It's nice to have some experience and expertise for help, thanks again.

CoilSpring

The arrow maker left them unglued so you could custom glue them to your preferred orientation - ie, cock feather up/down, or out/in, while they're on the string.  Good advice above. Let em dry overnight before shooting.
